The time for volunteer training at Among Friends is here–on Tuesday, August 29th at 2:00-4:00. If you can’t make it then, the session will be repeated from 6:00-8:00. If this date doesn’t work for you, plan to attend training on September 13th.
If you are thinking about volunteering or simply want to learn more about our new memory care respite center opening on October 3, 2017, please attend.
What kind of volunteers will we need? People who would like to help with craft activities and meals at the center, people who can play musical instruments or like to sing, people who like to bake healthy snacks, people who like to drive (to pick up and drop off participants who need transportation), people like to read aloud, people who like to have conversations with new friends, people whose pets are trained as therapy animals . . . In other words, we need you!
