November is National Caregiver month, a time for remembering and thanking all the family members and friends who provide daily care for individuals with dementia. Our gratitude for all they have done and are doing to keep individuals in their homes by providing care for their loved ones. We offer this simple moment of relaxation and fun for our Among Friends participants and caregivers at 2:00 Tuesday, November 14 provided by Lori’s Spa. Our thanks to them for this service.
Among Friends, located here at First Congregational UCC, provides a social respite for individuals with dementia and their caregivers. We are open 9:00-3:00 every Tuesday.
