Summer is a great time for both caregivers and their loved ones with memory loss to have some fun. Among Friends is the perfect place for those with dementia to make new friends and participate in fun activities. Their caregivers can enjoy the sunshine with friends, catch up on some gardening, or take care of needed errands, knowing that their loved one is in good hands.
This week some of the participants, along with volunteers, created these lovely Mother’s Day cards that will be taken to area nursing homes. We also made some Father’s Day cards that we will distribute in June and Thank You cards.
