Volunteering Can Be Fun

Do you like to dance and sing? Play cards and games? Make cookies, plant or arrange flowers, take walks? Chat, listen, serve lunch? Are your Tuesdays available between 9 am and 3 pm (mornings only, afternoons only, or the whole time)?

We are searching for individuals with compassionate hearts and kind spirits to volunteer at Among Friends, a daytime social respite for individuals who are experiencing memory changes.

Our next volunteer training will be on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 11:00-1:00 at 110 N. Third Street in River Falls. Volunteer training and a background check are required for all volunteers.

Instructors will include retired Dementia Care Specialist Nancy Sailer, Volunteer Director Bonnie Jones-Witthuhn, Program Coordinator Martha Termaat, and trained volunteers.
